    try taking a can of carb cleaner or wd40 and spryaing around the motor while it is running and if it revs up then you have found a vacuum leak

    Dunno 'bout WD40, but Carb/Throttle Body cleaner works real well.

    Gotcha, I'd never heard of using WD40...butane yes, carb cleaner, but not WD40.

    BTW, Im still clueless. The drop in high RPM boost has been attributed to improper SC belt tension due to a busted tensioner bolt. I had it rigged so I *thought* it was tight enough, and it felt tight enough. But apparently, it wasnt, because right as the bolt was replaced, boost was restored.

    As for the squeak...I just dono!
